Terms and Conditions

By making a deposit on your order, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by Flourish Cake Design's terms and conditions.

Bookings and Deposits

  1. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your order. This deposit secures your order and enables us to allocate the necessary resources and time to create your custom cake.

  2. Invoices with unpaid deposits after one week from the date of creation will be subject to cancellation. This policy allows us to serve other customers who may be interested in placing an order for the same date. Therefore, it is crucial that you promptly submit your deposit to confirm your reservation.

  3. Should your invoice be canceled due to an unpaid deposit, we will make every effort to notify you in advance. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee availability if your invoice is not paid within the specified timeframe.

  4. If your invoice is canceled due to an unpaid deposit, you may still place a new order; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of your original event date. It is advisable to check with us regarding our current availability before making a new order.

We greatly value your business and appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our deposit and invoice policies. These measures allow us to maintain a fair and efficient system for all our customers.

Design Variation Disclaimer

The final design of your custom cake may vary slightly from the reference images provided or discussed. Our talented decorators strive to replicate the design as accurately as possible, but minor variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our cakes.​

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable. If the cancellation if made within 14 days of the event date, the deposit may be applied to a future order; if the cancellation is made within 5 days of the event date, the full payment may still be required. Refunds are subject to our discretion and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Order Changes and Revisions

  1. Order Alterations Less Than 14 Days Prior to Event: Due to the meticulous planning and preparation involved in creating custom cakes, we are unable to accommodate alterations to the flavor or design of your cake less than 14 days prior to your event date. This policy ensures that we can execute your original order with the utmost care and attention to detail.

  2. Design Alterations More Than 14 Days Prior to Event: If you wish to make changes to the design of your cake more than 14 days prior to your event, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please note that additional charges may be incurred if the design alteration warrants it. Our team will provide you with a revised quote based on the updated design specifications.


  1. Transportation Responsibility: Once our cake leaves our premises and is handed over to a third-party transportation service or an individual not affiliated with Flourish Cake Design, any damage incurred during transportation is not the responsibility of Flourish Cake Design. This includes damage caused by handling, temperature conditions, road conditions, or any other factors beyond our control.

  2. Cake Pick-up and Delivery Guidelines: When picking up your cake from our bakery or when it is delivered to your designated location, it is crucial to exercise utmost care. We provide guidelines for safe transportation, including recommendations for keeping the cake level and stable during transport. It is the customer's responsibility to follow these guidelines and ensure the cake is handled appropriately.

  3. Assistance and Advisory: We are more than happy to provide advice and recommendations on transporting your cake safely. Please feel free to consult with us regarding any concerns or questions you may have, and we will do our best to assist you.

  4. Reporting Damage: In the event that any damage occurs to the cake during transportation, please notify us immediately. While we are not responsible for such damage, we would like to work with you to find a suitable solution or provide any necessary guidance.
